Why ImpactMojo exists

The gap being addressed
Development education is either expensive (degrees, workshops) or inaccessible (academic journals). Practitioners need applied, cited, affordable knowledge — and until ImpactMojo, no platform was built specifically for them.
Why free at the core
The practitioners who need rigorous knowledge most — NGO staff, government officers, early-career researchers — are also those with the smallest training budgets. Paywalls compound inequality in the sector.
South Asia focus
Most development education platforms use Western case studies. ImpactMojo is built with MGNREGA, ASER, NHM, and India's constitutional law at the centre — not as afterthoughts.
Open source rationale
MIT License ensures no vendor lock-in, enables verification of data practices, and makes the platform auditable. This is a deliberate design choice, not incidental.
