This kit is small. It is the question bank and one set of course notes, because ImpactMojo has no trainer deck, workbook, refresher or poster on AI for M&E yet.

The question bank

The bank has 500 original multiple-choice questions on AI for monitoring and evaluation, in ten sections of 50. Each question has four options and one correct answer. The file includes a short answer key and a second key that explains each answer in one sentence, which you can read out after a test or hand to learners.

The questions range from recall to application and analysis. They were written for this bank and checked for accuracy.

Sections: AI & ML foundations for evaluators, Large language models & generative AI, AI for qualitative analysis, AI for quantitative & data tasks, Prompt engineering for M&E workflows, AI-assisted reporting & evidence synthesis, Bias, fairness & validity in AI for M&E, AI ethics, privacy & responsible use, AI tools & the evaluation workflow, AI limitations, risks & verification.

How trainers use it

C. A statistical technique that only works on numerical spreadsheet data
D. A hardware architecture designed specifically for faster computation

Large Language Models & Generative AI

At the most basic level, what does a large language model (LLM) like the one powering a chatbot actually do when generating text?
A. It looks up pre-written answers stored in a database
B. It predicts the next token (piece of text) based on the preceding text
C. It searches the live internet for the best matching sentence
D. It runs a fixed decision tree of if-then rules

AI for Qualitative Analysis
